Road-going replica of the Yamaha 250 GP racer, powered by a liquid-cooled reed-valve 90-degree V-twin two-stroke in an aluminium Deltabox chassis with upside-down forks. Power is quoted at 45 hp, the restricted Japanese-market figure. It is part of the 3XV generation sold from 1991. The motorcyclespecs page is a 1991 comparison test against rivals such as the Suzuki RGV250 and Kawasaki KR-1S.
